Hello, I’m Rosalie, an alexander technique and voice teacher, mezzo soprano and vocalist.

My work as a performer and collaborator moves between folk, opera, improvisation, contemporary, composition and more. I’m a member of vocal ensemble HOWL, singer-composer collective Yolk, and SpiralArts, a cross generational and multi-disciplinary community of artists. HOWL recently released our second EP Night Creatures, written in collaboration with Robert Macfarlane and Yuvan Aves, released through Cosmo Sheldrake’s Tardigrade Records.

I’m registered as a fully qualified Alexander teacher with STAT (Society of Teachers of the Alexander Technique), having qualified at the London Centre for Alexander Technique and Training (LCATT). I have a Masters (distinction) in Vocal Studies from the Guildhall School of Music & Drama, and am in the midst of becoming a vocal health first aider.

Alongside teaching from my private practice in London I have assisted at the Royal College of Music, the London School of Musical Theatre, the Centre for Young Musicians, and on the Temple Church choral scholarship programme. In early 2024 I began the Singing into Being workshop series and community alongside fellow teacher Charlotte Herst.
