‘give yourself permission to be wrong and experience the joy of being surprised’

alexander technique
whether we’re sitting at a desk, walking down the street, or standing on a stage, just by moving through the world we develop patterns of effort that feel so normal we may no longer notice them (until they show up as persistent pain or stress).
alexander is the skill of noticing and getting to know these patterns, incorporating rest into our routine, and cultivating choice around how we respond to life’s challenges, welcoming ease and joy into everyday movement.
what to expect
lessons include verbal guidance and gentle touch, subject to consent. I aim to provide a space where you can begin to notice your patterns for yourself.
we may do this through looking at everyday movement - standing, sitting, walking - although the lessons are student led, so whatever you want to work on, we will find a way to work with.

“I had a profound experience with Rosalie when I went to her for Alexander Technique. She made me recognise and inhabit my body in a totally new, organic way; I almost felt as if I was a mountain range, peaceful and still, and it's a memory and thought that I treasure. I highly, highly recommend her”
